Introduction

La Commanderie is a chateau "Bed and Breakfast" established
on an ancient templar site, situated in the middle of a park in
the Loire Valley, overlooking the Vienne.
Ideal for a stopover near Tours en route to the south, the Perigord
and Spain, or for a visit to the garden of France with its beautiful
castles, gardens, famous vineyards and ancient vcities like Chinon,
Azay le Rideau and Richelieu.

The atmosphere is that of a friendly guesthouse, where travellers
from all over the world meet each other.
The evening meals are eaten outside on the terrace in front
of the house in a romantic ambiance.
The cuisine fuses tradition with an original flair, using ingredients
of the region and served with the famous vin rouge de Chinon.
When the weather is good, it is possible to eat on our terrace
in a romantic ambiance. In the near surroundings of la
Commanderie you will find several restaurants. On walking
distance (1 km) you can eat in a creperie.
